-Reserved for Kinza-
>> Silvery-blue paws landed without a sound against the soft ground as long, blue legs stretched out before her. The female wolfess stepped out bravely into the open, stopping when she was fully in view. The first thing noticeable about her were the three, deep, painful looking slash marks across her chest that started right behind her right shoulder. The next thing was the four, jagged scars around her left torso that were even larger. Her narrow,l ong nose and perfectly chisled head spoke of feminine beauty, but her pierceing, faded crimson eyes spoke of a hunter.
Her white chest was puffed out proudly, her head held high, showing off the thick, leather dog collar though she was clearly mostly wolf, her dog bloodline barely showing through. But it was very apparrent she was not full wolf because of her bushy tail. It was slimmer, longer, and yet still bushier than wolf tails and her paws were bigger than normal. She shook her blue and white neck, the dark blue tiger stripes on the fur a mere blurr. The two, large gold hoop earrings in her right ear jingled, clinking against each other. Her left ear was torn in a large 'V'-shiped slice and her left eyebrow had two silver peircings. Her white belly was thin, her muscles thick, yet lean and legs long. Her tail streamed out behind her kind of like a horse's.
Her black nose quivered, taking in the fresh, wonderful scents around her as she walked through the soft sand. After a while, she began to relax and dropped her head from it's high position that she had come accustomed to in her pack as a bear hunting dog. Laying her ears flat, she shook her head vigerously once more, the loose collar moving up her neck as she stopped in the shadow of one of the many dunes. Maybe today would be different, maybe today she'd find a home or friend or maybe be rejected once more like all had done so far, especially after her scars and collar were seen.

Huge paws left imprints in the sand that were almost twice the size of any normal wolf's. His tail was held just barely off the ground as shoulders were hunched as he walked. Not one for sticking around for too long he walked carelessly through the land. Why should he care if some tough wolf came to try and kill him? He'd been through much much worse in his life. Right side had only the slightest of limps in it and that seemed only natural seeing as there were three huge bullet scars in his shoulder. Most thought of him as a weary traveler, but he was anything but. He'd earned his keep in life by suviving his childhood. His scars shown a fighter but the way he walked shown someone who'd nearly given up on living. Stumbling once he gave a soft growl of anger. How much more of this wandering life could he stand? When would all the pain just stop? When would this nightmare end?

>> Pink tongue rolled over her dry lips, wetting them for just a moment. She shook her head, a habit, to get some air through her thick, yet silk-like fur. Long fore stalks pulled her up. She winced lightly when the muscles that connected to the front of her shoulder pinched. They did that lot becase of the tension in them after her wounds. She stretched and padded from the shade into the dreadful sun. While most wolves would sink about and inch or two into the fine sand of the dunes, this wolf was different and not only in her crazy fur color.
>> As she started to climb the dun above her, she seemed to float effortlessly across the sand. Due to being part Akita, her large paws prevented her from sinking in sand as they would in snow if she were in her original homelands. Her relaxed face made her seem older than her age, even though for most wolves around these parts, she was a tad older than most. Though in age by years, she was young, her gaze was wise not by knowledge she was born with, but knowledge she obtained over her short, but still hard life.
>> As she was about mid-way up the dun, a breeze brought to her the scent of another wolf. She sniffed it delicately before thinking if she should ignore the wolf, obviosly male, like normal, pass by him without being noticed, or meet him face to face. She felt somewhat more social today, so deciding she should chance getting crushed by regection, she strode towards the smell. She had been regected by a total of 14 wolves because of her heritage, 9 because of her scars and dog collar, and 17 because of her coloring in the past 2 years. Hey it isn't everyday you see a wolf that is blue with red eyes. She reached the top of the dun only to find herself face to face with a black wolf. Letting down her composure, she jumped back in surprise, slipping on the fine sand. But she quickly regain her balance before she could make a fool of herself. In fact, she proved one thing as she leapt into the air after she slipped.
>> As she landed on her paws to his right so close their fur brushed briefly, she didn't sink an inch in the sand. She proved she was speedy and flexible, a wolf one could describe like a slimey eel. One you could not get a good grip on in a fight. She backed up a few steps, her head even with her spin, in a non-challenging manner. She was relaxed enough to show him she meant not threat, yet ready to bolt if need be. Her scars were horrible up close, yet the brute had a collection of his own. Her scars were large, even for a wolf like her, making him wonder what in the world could have caused such damage to her, with her being so 'slippery' and all. She came up maybe an inch or two shorter than him. Her faded, captivating crimson eyes examined him closely, yet her gaze was not intense, even maybe a tad comforting.
>> He was long and lean, much like her if she didn't have all this darn poofy fur. To her, he was quite handsome. What she ahd first thought was black was not. His base coat was indeed black, but the light hairs mixing with it gave her the impression of a wolf like her father and instantly she felt drawn to him. She had always been amazingly close to her father since she took after him not in only personality but her wolf looks. She smiled softly at him and lifted her head some, still not meeting his eyes. Even though she was obviously a dominate wolf, she knew what to do when first meeting others, knew what made them feel uncomfortable or welcomed. "Sorry about that, there. Guess I wasn't waiting for someone else to just pop up in fron of me. Heh..."

He lifted his head slightly his eyes looked tired and if you looked close enough... broken. He let out a sigh before he sat down not wanting to stand any longer. He had been alone for so long and this was the second vixen he'd met in the last two days. Still he felt that she wasn't quite like the other. She seemed kinder and less .... well flirtatious. He looked over her scars with one sweep of her up and down. At her words he looked up before he said tiredly" Yeah... it's alright, at least you didn't bite my nose off. Anyone else takes a chunk out of my nose and they'll be nothing left of it." Ha one of his joking moods today. Kaya was lucky... he was feeling a little less anti social today and a little more like th old Kinza. The Kinza that came before the humans came.

>> He sounded nice enough to her and his gaze didn't reject her. She caught the look in his gaze briefly before sitting down as well. Kaya gave a light chuckle, eyeing the scar on his nose. He was kinda right. "Wow, no kidding, huh? Kinda like me. My left ear is hanging by a thread." She tried to wiggle on ear, the left, but failed miserable and just resulted in tilting her head and wiggling both ears. Her earrings jingled some and her dog collar, finally noticeable, joined in, catching sunlight. The buckle reflected the sun into Kinza's face and she arched her neck, shaking her head to hide the color in her fur once more in shame. Her collar got her into the most trouble if it were for her unearthly coat color.
She slowly laid down, the tense muscles in her chest and shoulders bunching together almost painfully. She pulled her legs under her white, brutally scarred chest gently. The dark blue tiger stripes on her neck stood out, making her neck and body seem like its normal slim self, though her thick, fluffy fur made her seem a little on the heavy side. The scars on her back looked broken somewhat. Again the scars brought up the thought of what gave her them. Her dog collar was not hidden like she wished in her strange, yet pretty blue fur. She laid her long, slim muzzle that gave her face a young, pretty look on her slender leg with a sigh. "Yea, well, I hope your scars don't bother you like mine do." She picked up her head and offered a bright, friendly smile. "By the way, I'm Kaya."

Muscles tensed slightly as he saw her collar, it brought up horrible memories. Fear flashed through his eyes for less than a second before he offered a small smile, which truly was a stretch. He shrugged at the mention of scars bothering him before he said" Not too much, only the ones the humans gave me." He slid down onto his stomach as jaws parted in a huge yawn. As she said her name he contemplated whether to tell her his. Nose wrinkled as he thought before he decided that it should be alright. Vocals soon emerged" Nice to meet you Kaya....I'm....Kinza." It had been so long since he'd uttered his own name. He had seen no use for it lately so hadn't let it cross his maw. He let his tongue pass over his nose as he curled his left leg under him while the other stayed straight out. His huge bushy tail curled up over his back as he lay there before he brought it down and it flopped heavily into the sand.

>> Kaya looked away quietly at his first words. Humans? Her happy-go-lucky mood slowly faded away. The look on her face became troubled and thoughtful. She had never known humans to be so...violent so wolves. They never had been to her but then again, her master, his family, and his friends as well as the villagers had been the only humans she had ever met. "I'm sorry...this is hard to admit...but I'm confused a little...humans shot at you? I...know they have bad tempers when they are mispleased...but my humans were always...so nice and gentle with me...besides the time his offspring dyed my fur...but it was the same with the villagers, but then again..." Her voice grew quiet. "Maybe it was because I was the only figure of protection in the village after my father and mother's death...I wonder what would happen if I went back..."

She had lived with the beasts that had so cruely killed his whole pack?!? This startled him a bit and he sat up a little uncomfortably before he said" They were viscious and killed everyone in my pack down to the last pup, I only got away because the big stupid one missed my head or I'd of ended up like all the rest....they even killed....they even killed Lily. She wasn't doing anything but hiding in the back of the den because she was with pups and they slaughtered her than hung her from a tree branch by her paws. They are vile and evil and if I could I'd kill every one of the ones who'd killed my pack." He was getting a little worked up now and looked away as his eyes blazed with the fury that had so long been untapped and the past that had never once been uttered to any. He was slightly ashamed that he'd let himself get so worked up.

Kaya looked down at her paws, wincing at his words...ssh felt so young naive again...a feeling she hated, not the young part, but the naive part. She had lost her naiveness once she began training. She looked away and spoke in a tired, but wise and paient voice that seemed to calm him. "I am sorry I offended you, but you cannot blame me. I was born into a human household. I was lucky to recieve kind and gentle hands. I was lucky my parents used to say. But what really is luck..." Her voice became pained and roused the question...what was she talking about? And why was she, a 'pure' blood wolf born into human hands? The question was almost unbearable and her voice, though clearly pained, actually seemed to ask him to ask her what had happened.

Kinza tilted his head to the side slightly his eyes dulling down again. He would of told her not to be sorry for it was not her fault but he just couldn't get the words past his maw, they kept sticking in his throat. At her talk of being born to humans he looked at her curiously before he said" Why would a wolf want to live with humans, no matter how nice they were?"

She smiled softly. "You don't find it weird how my paws and tail are different from normal wolves. I was born into a human household because I am quarter Akita. I was trained at 4 months old to hunt bears, I was depended on in my home to keep the whole village alive after my father and mother, the best bear hunters in the village, died. Everyone says I am lucky...but how am I lucky to have grown up with out a real childhood or anything. I left two years ago and now..."

-that okay. meh, tired from posting like that me make it easier now-
Kaya sighed and rose slowly, but winced when her back twisted in an uncomfortable position, producing a crack. "Ouch...that is okay, Kinza. You are the fourth wolf in the past year that has accepted me even the slightest and knows about my past. So...you have a home or anyone else that you knw or are friends with or something?" She obviously wanted to keep Kinza away from continuing the subject of her past and wanted to keep him away from the question of her scars, but then again, the gods always seemed against her lately. She passed her tongue delicately over her white chest. With her eyes closed, the dark blue tiger stripes and the dark blue eye marking seemed to radiate her looks. She shook slowly at first then vigerously, letting cool air reach her skin through her thick, poofy fur. "Ugh...I normally like this fur, seeing as I don't mind being different, but I hate it for that main reason it makes me look so d**n fat.

He couldn't help but let out a chuckle at her comment, but than his mind returned to her question and his brow furrowed for a moment before auds flicked back than forwards before he said" I just walk, wherever my paws take me I go...alone. I try not to talk and usually never give my name" He gave her a look letting her know that she was one of the only wolves who knew his name. Than he continued" I suppose you could call me a loner...I find it less painful...not getting too attatched to anyone...though...you'll make it harder for me to leave this place." He looked up at the sky as he thought to himself 'If I leave'.

Kaya listened to him quietly. As he spoke about leaving, she swung her head away quickly, feeling her white cheeks turn a rosy red and heat up. She gave a strangled cough and spoke in a quiet voice. "Well, I'm glad to know that you trust me like so Kinza...and we aren't as different as I thought. I'm a loner to, though I could never find a place that would accept me like I am. Sometimes I wish that my fur was back to its normal red instead of blue since it would hide my scars, but hey, with me like this, you can't miss me!" She gave a short laugh and looked back at Kinza, her eyes shining. "And you never know, Kinza. Fate has an awful strange way of changing lives. It might turn someone you least expect into an enemy or something more. That happened to me once and I regret ever falling for him now that I look back on it...and also for ever meeting another wolf."
